Kimberly Perkins, PhD
Kimberly Perkins is currently a Boeing 787 pilot. Previously, she was a Captain on a Gulfstream 650. She has extensive international experience piloting jet aircraft on six continents and has lived on three. At her previous flight department, concurrent with her piloting duties, she held the position of Safety Officer leading the company through an IS-BAO Stage III audit.
She has received the Pilot Safety Award from the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the Master Aviator Award from Flight Safety International. She was NBAA’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2020. Her doctoral research focuses on enhancing aviation safety systems through human-centered design and engineering, emphasizing cognitive and behavioral science. Crystal Hall, PhD
Dr. Crystal Hall is an applied behavioral scientist trained in experimental social psychology. She is an Associate Professor at the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington. Her academic research pursues the integration of decision science and public policy.
She also brings two decades of experience consulting for governments (at the local, state and federal level), nonprofits, and other organizations interested in incorporating an evidence-based approach into their leadership practices, along with policy and program design, implementation, and evaluation. She earned a B.S. in both Decision Science and Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.S. and PhD in Psychology from Princeton University. |
